Raccoon Dice is Liar's Dice. Each raccoon gets 5 dice, rolled in secret.
you can only see your own until the reveal. In between, players bid and bluff
about what's out there in everyone's dice combined, until someone gets called out.
This app just handles the rolling and hiding, the actual game happens out loud.
Here's how a round of Liar's Dice works:
- Pick someone to start, each raccoon in turn either raises the bid or calls "Liar!" on the last one.
- A bid is a claim like "four 3s" â that among everyone's dice combined, at least that many show that number.
- Each new bid must beat the last: a higher quantity, or the same quantity with a higher face value, or higher on both. To beat Three 2s, you could play Three 3s or Four 2s
Once someone calls "Liar!", press Reveal All Dice and count up. If the bid holds true,
whoever called Liar was wrong; if it doesn't, the bidder was bluffing and got caught.
Traditionally the loser drops a die for the next round â Raccoon Dice always deals 5 fresh,
so track eliminations however your group likes.
- One player creates a game and shares the invite code or QR code with friends.
- Everyone joins using the code or by scanning the QR.
- The host presses Start Round when everyone is in.
- Dice are rolled automatically when the round starts.
- Each player sees only their own dice in the tray at the bottom of the screen.
- When the host is ready, they press Reveal All Dice to show everyone's hand.
All raccoons' dice are shown on screen. Compare, argue, point fingers.
The host can press Next Round to re-roll and go again,
or End Game to wrap things up.
When a game ends, the host can start a fresh game with the same players â
no one needs to re-join. Just press Play Again.
